And so too does the process of building a next-generation library services platform.  In this interactive session, Ex Libris and representatives from its Unified Resource Management (URM) development partners will explore the process of defining and building a framework to serve current and future library management needs.

• How do we put "bricks together" to build a strong foundation?
• Which traditional library functions need to be accommodated in the blueprint?
• Can we repurpose some of our building materials to support emerging library needs?
• What do we do to make sure that we don't end up with the equivalent of gold shag carpet - features that we won't need (or want!) in the future?
